Our Biking Day Trip To Myakka River State Park
If you are vacationing on Siesta Key, Myakka is very easy to get to. Take Stickney Point Rd. east which turns into Clark Rd. which turns into State Rd 72 right after you go under the freeway. You can also rent your bikes up at the upper lake where we started from. It costs $6 per car to enter the park. You could also pair your Myakka bike trip with a wildlife air boat tour. In the summer, the boat tour is at 10 am, 11:30am, and 1pm. $12 for adults, $6 for children (under 5 free). The park is open from 8am until sundown 365 days a year.
