Born and raised on the island of Oland, Sweden, Therese came to Sarasota back in 1997 to attend USF and pursue her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development.
She currently teaches pre-school at Forty Carrots Family Center and is enjoying her summer babysitting and helping run our busy concierge & home watch company. Therese is an very hard worker, super caring, and has a gift for childcare. Her smile is contagious, and you will never come home to dirty dishes in the sink. What more can I say?

I grew up in Columbus, OH, graduated from Ohio Dominican University and came to Sarasota back in 2004. I am currently attending USF and pursuing The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) K-6.
As a young adult I spent my summers in Maine as a camp counselor at Camp Kawanhee and taught outdoor survival and life skills. Throughout collage I enjoyed working as a Middle School lacrosse coach. After college I moved west and worked as a fly fishing guide, ski instructor, whitewater rafting guide, boat captain and resort manager in places like Alaska and Belize.
I enjoy working with all ages and have experience working with kids with Asperger syndrome and other learning disabilities.
Ask me about my summer activity and tutor programs that involve different fun activities like: Lacrosse, snorkeling, fly-fishing, kayaking, indoor b-ball and studying animals like the great Alaska Brown Bear and Salmon.
